Stories

Since before I can remember, stories have been a key part of my life. I used to sit under the crabapple tree in the front yard of my childhood home and consume them. I live for that one line in a book that takes your breath away -the one that you read over and over again because it just makes you feel seen, and isn't that what we're all searching for, anyway? Stories have the power to connect us to both each other and the world. Stories generate empathy and understanding, they allow us to share our dreams out loud and give us the hope we need to change the world.
